    ICV Ticking and Not Working

My car has been idling pretty rough lately. The ICV is ticking as it should but hen I unplug it the car stops going up and down and smoothens out. Is it not working properly? Anyone has come across that issue?
I am not sick, I am twisted. Sick makes it sound like there is a cure.

I had something similar, cleaned it out with maf cleaner and some q tips and now it idles much better. It's easy so it's worth a try if you haven't already.

Check the ICV using the method described in the Bentley manual. Also check your TPS to make sure its adjusted correctly or your ICV will never work right.
