Installed m50 injectors having minor issue need chip or something else

So i replaced the injectors in the e30 with rebuilt m50 ones from mepeh the car runs better than the whole time i have owned it there are however a couple things i have noticed one thing i noticed is when letting off the throttle the revs seem to slowly fall where as before they would decrease rapidly

The other issue is between 4-6k you can feel the engine rev harder at a certain point like the car is not reving as fast as it should then it all of sudden feels to pickup and rev normal

Replaced spark plugs with ngk when i did injectors as well

I kind of think it needs the chip the ecu is trying to adapt but this is a 25+ year old fuel injection system that has a limited amount of what it can do

Not sure if this will help, but I have M50 injectors and a stock set-up. After changing my FPR and oxygen sensor, the car runs way better.

I think a chip tuned for the M50 injectors is my next move.

I have the same problem. I just installed green tops and it doesn't run as well as I'd hoped. I'm considering going with a war chip and tune. Subscribing now to learn your solution.

the engine should still run "fine" with slightly bigger injectors with zero mods. i have run 18lb on bone stock and its perfectly able to cope evn though it is far from ideal. i would think there are also other issues at play

I agree there's other issues. My 2.7i instantly ran perfectly on stock 153 tune on M50 injectors and never misfired a single time. However, the reason I did the conversion is because I thought I had electronic gremlins, which turned out to just be my new NGK plugs. My eta had absolutely no power all of a sudden when it warmed up and sounded like a Subaru boxer. I later put them in my buddies eta and it did the exact same thing.

The ecu can handle the injectors nicely, I think you should try your old spark plugs.

I might have thrown them away but they were autolites so they were cheap maybe ill buy another set
I was going to get bosch plugs but i guess they were no longer made

The car ran fine until an injector failed so the plugs were put in at the same time and could be the issue
