Luke, that's a stupid unresponsive evaluation. The previous posters answered my question satisfactorily, so your unprovoked attack on me was useless and unecessary. My 2 tries were months apart and when I got no response from MM I investigated other avenues.I was also curious if others had run into problems contacting them, hence my post. How does that make me a dickhead?

Wouldn't it make sense for the MM guys to put a sentemce in their voicemail that they may be busy and they will get back to you, and then actually follow through when they get time? And I left a simple question as to California emissions that would have taken two minutes to answer, they did not see fit to return the call. These guys are operating a business, and should be professional about it.

OK, fine, I over reacted, I apologize.

However, be aware how much impact a post like this can have.

One bad PR post with bad timing and one malicious customer put me out of business after nearly 10 years full time.

Save a post like this for something serious.

Jim Rowe thinks in 3D animation (he is a genius) - give him a break. He is a true artist and has added monumental work to BMW over his career. Yes, everyone there works on something so they keep busy.

Yes, Jim is a legend and after spending time on his website there's no doubt the guy is focused. He's also a small shop who probably does answer his own phone when he has time, which fortunately for him, he doesn't have much of.

I've gotten to know Rich the rackdr fairly well over the years and he has shared with me the frustration of trying to address every inquiry constructively and getting push back on his decades of experience from people who "read something on the Internet". Sometimes getting the job done outranks the full inbox.

I also have to admit being a bit envious at the thought of being so busy doing what you love, that you can afford not to return calls. power to him.

And kudos to the grown ups in this room for not turning this in to a major pissing match
