    M20 Exhaust manifold gaskets.

Hey guys as im finishing my swap and trying to get my exhaust all connected back up on my 91 m20. I've noticed that the gaskets just dont fit..Ive tried different ones and same thing. Its also weird because everything is stock as of heads and such. Wondering if anyone has dealt with this. Also do you think my exhaust would leak it I bore just a little off the metal gasket to make it fit the three prongs.

    Thanks Baron-

Oh I did say that wrong. Yeah from the down pipe to the headers.

Only thing I can think of is early vs late. Did you get the correct one?

            Which m20?

Cause i'm fairly sure the m20b25 has 2 separate 3-1 cast manifolds that separately go into the exhaust pipes, using two separate gaskets.

But my M20B23 has a single 6 into 2 cast manifold, which has a single gasket that joins it to the flange into two steel pipes.

And no doubt there are probably variants for each over the years....

Some of those manifold to down pipe gaskets are just plain crap and won't fit over the studs. Get OEM or Elring

I had the same issue. Just drilled out the holes a little bit and they fit on.
