Figured the TPS was bad because of horrible idle. When going to replace it I see that its just hanging there. I believe that it mounts onto the throttle body but there is no mounting spot. Any idea? I hope I don't have to buy a new throttle body.

The mounting boss on the throttle body is broken off. I suggest you replace both the TPS and the throttle body. Yes, it will make a huge difference.Owner - Bavarian Restoration

Definitely can see this. BMW hid the mounting screws so that the TB has to come off to change or adjust the TPS. Looks like they tried replacing the TPS without removing the TB.Originally posted by jeffnhiscars View PostComment
