Thanks a lot man I didn’t think so just checking tho because I have every single part to put the auto in. Everything is torn out Tho and I already have the 5-speed! It should take a couple months but I’m determined to get this beast up and running legit. I was also wondering if the high quality flywheels are worth it the one I’m looking into is $500 but is aluminum and fits the stock clutch. Im thinking I’m just going to go high quality on everything.

Here is my list, gleaned from a variety of sources over the past year. Parts with an (x) are things I already have; still buying other pieces. I hope this helps.

Amazing list! Out of this list, what is recommended to get "NEW" instead of using the old stuff?

Hoses too! there are 2 hoses on the master cylinder. One from master cylinder to brake fluid reservoir. There’s a hardline to the soft line to the slave cylinder. Also there is a lil plastic piece that goes on the master cylinder that connects the hose that goes to the brake reservoir. These are the tiny parts that I had the most trouble finding.

That front lift point looks like it needs a day off :eeek:

What did you use at your other lift point? Rear of the manifold? I can't tell...

Also, how's the swap going? And btw it's not impossible to do it without removing the whole engine. Might even be easier.

I have two engines. Had to remove the original one because of cylinder wall scaring and bad rod bearing. I may rebuild the bad engine later to learn more. So the engine you see is a working engine with 70k miles (according to the seller). Here’s a pic of the pull I’m having someone more experienced help me. I was out of town this weekend to skydive. So no progress yet however I have everything ready to go! I’ll definitely keep everyone posted. I’m so ready to drive!Click image for larger version
