    Cold Air Intake product reviews...who makes the best one?

    Looking to purchase, and want to know who's is best. TIA

    Nobody makes a "cold air intake" for an E30.

    For best results build your own setup with a proper heat shield.

        BMW makes the best cold air intake.
        The current fleet:
        1992 325ic: 148k-171k miles
        1999 Chevrolet Tahoe LT 4WD, 114k-142k miles
        1984 MasterCraft Stars and Stripes Powerslot (not a car :D) PCM Ford 351W, 904 hours

          Sooooo true. A friend of mine slapped one together with bits acquired from a hardware store. It really didn't do much for the car performance-wise (not even throttle response), but damn it sure made a good noise ;-)

              Use the factory airbox. It is the best for a factory engine.

                    That box is awesome! assume you must have access to precision cutting equipment-- which I don't:( What caused you to need to move the PS reservoir btw?

                      precision cutting equipment??
                      ...ummmm a jig saw to cutout the shapes, a circular saw to cut the slots in the top (carbide tip blade and a bit of kero for lubricant), plus a hole saw for the power steering reservoir hole. A couple of bit of angle iron for a bending jig. The reason I moved it was it is an ugly piece of work and it looks better tucked away....
