the specs provided are identical for both but that doesn't mean the profile can't be slightly different but the difference between the two (if there is any) would be neglibable

When I see vendors advertise a 284 cam is that the same one? None of them mention that it is 272 (split duration) on the exhaust!

probably not.

also, MM makes a similar cam (dual pattern). not sure how it compares to the schrick, could be more aggressive.
