    2.9 Stroker Questions

I have built a 2.9 from a super eta engine. MM pistons, springs, 272 cam and I have noticed that there is a different part number for a SETA and a I Harmonic Balancer. Is it timing, marks or weight the difference? Also, the car was an automatic and my donor was a eta car for the transmission, not a dual mass, but I'm looking to put in a lighter fly wheel (suggestions?). And last question: I also have 17 lb. injectors with a mark D 25 chip. What should I be using for a chip?

the pulley for the belt is different size (larger) so you must use the corresponding water pump pulley otherwise it wont fit. Timing and markings are the same.

They are different crankshafts. They need to be balanced differently. Do yourself a favor and lock your hood and give your bmw shop the only key.

it's a *harmonic vibration* dampener, not a balancer. M20 cranks are naturally balanced. keep your ignorance to yourself, thanks. ;)

Easy there trying to be a bad ass. He build an engine, that takes knowledge. It was a reasonable question.

I think D'sylva tech (MarkD) makes a stroker chip.
