M20 AFM to M30 AFM with 19lb injector questions

i gave the AFM with stock injectors another chance, and it seemed to get worse as the engine got hotter, RPMs went up so slow i thought my car might explode, the weird thing is at about 3/4 throttle it ran super smooth, but then i floor it and everything stops. I think i just keep things stock, what if i install the injectors and then still have the problem?
The one thing that people keep forgetting is that the internals in the 027 AFM are the same as the internals in the stock i AFM. So realistically, if you have a good operating AFM, your car should run fine but maybe just a bit lean due to more are being produced. And if you put the 19lb injectors in, dont worry about them. They wont hurt anything. My buddy runs his 89 iS with just the 19lbers on it with no problems.
If anyone would like it, I can swing by the junk yard I usually go to and pick up one or two. When I get them I look for low mileage cars so that they have the best chance of being in good condition. Before I take them apart for a thorough cleaning, I test them on my car to make sure they are running correctly. Then I take them all apart down to just the housing and clean everything. They get really nasty over the years. After I'm finished cleaning them I will throw a coat of silver or flat black on the housing and put everything back together with new shiny hardware. I can pick up the AFM from the yard for about $40 and then do the cleaning and new hardware for a bit more. If anyone is interested, drop me a PM and we can further discuss the product, price, shipping etc.

the AFM is absolutely not a restriction on the eta - and you already have 19# injectors. don't even waste your time, all you're going to do is make it run like shit.Comment

Sounds like a good plan. Kudos to ZM Blue devil for sticking by his services and being honest. That's hard to come by these days. Most guys would just say, sorry it worked for me. I can't help that it not working for you
Respect

Ok bro, here's the deal, M30 19lb injectors or high impedance injectors. ETA injectors which I believe are 18.5lb injectors, are low impedance injectolrs. All they would do would be mess with your ECU's reading of the fuel injection and most likely not even let the car idle.
Thats why they are saying dont worry about it.

So is anyone using the design 3's or is everyone running the design 2's??
At the junkyard I found a 96 mustang V6. The numbers on the injectors are 9F953. I haven't found anything on the internet as to what these are.Originally posted by NicademusMy car beats off to that car. :bow:Comment

Design 2's are easier to come by and they also work better for the swap.Comment
