    m20 stroker engine; headers smoking:(

Have a 87 block/ and 88 head; when I warm up the engine the headers smoke....really smoke. Changed the valve cover gasket and cleaned with brake cleaner. Is there anything else
I need to do. Where could the oil be coming from; or is it most likely years of oil leaking from the valve cover gasket?
    thanks,
    jm

yes, I was going to do that, but it sure is taking awhile:). If the headers, which are really just m20 exhaust manifolds get saturated, I assume it will take a long time to burn off.

        Go drive it.

They don't really get HOT at idle, so all that oil's just sitting there, smoking.
You want it to burn, baby, burn!
