I'll have it at the vintage. Scott has been out on the town with me recently and I am pretty sure it is to make sure I don't blow it up this year.Leave a comment:

ZenitramNaes, thanks for the comments and thank you for your service as well. I went with a PNP from WhoDWho. And as far as the tps I am using one from a 735il. There are 6 wires coming off of it and the wires I used are the wires that match in color exactly with the factory m20 harness.
Front and rear flares are done and have been for a while now. Divorce, final semester at college, new part time job, and weekends with the kids have all taken priority. So my updates have been non existent and I apologize.
The car runs like a dream and nothing on the road has been able to touch her. I daily drive the e30 and that blows people away once they see how hard I am in the car. But the more I drive her the better she gets. I have squeezed 245/50r16 under the back and 225/50r16 in the front with the flares. I think it looks pretty mean.
The next thing I need to address is a strange knock in the rear when I take off. It may be my subframe bushings even though they are relatively new and poly.Leave a comment:

Just spent a good three hours reading through this, and wow. Absolutely, great work. It's actually quite strange how I've never happened upon this build thread before, while I'm not on r3v a whole lot, I frequent enough to where I should have seen this.
First off, this thing is great. Love the m30 and everything you've done to yours. The quality of your build is really evident looking through all the photos.
Second, I find it quite strange that even though I've never read through this, it looks like we have a VERY similar build going on (m30, hx40, megasquirt), minus all the motor building on your side. I'm hoping the m106 internals will hold the power I intend to make with mine.
I understand you've chosen MS as engine management, but I don't recall exactly which board you chose. DIYPNP? MS2? MS3?
Also as a veteran myself, I want to thank you for your service. While I might have had different thoughts about you going through BMT, you seem like a really down to earth and friendly guy. I've never been to any large meets, but I love how most of the community here knows each other.
One last thing, right now I have MS running off MAP and could never really figure out how to get the variable m50 TPS to work. I'm curious to what wires you connected where.
Thank you! Again, great build and I hope to be able to see this car in person one day.Leave a comment:

I was going to install the fronts this evening but I got distracted with lowering the rear and leveling it out. She sits so low and pretty. Tucking 16s with the larger flared fender flares is sexy!Leave a comment:
