I got my injectors from Nitro as well.. disappointed to see the Ford emblem on them though, but it is a more effecient injector. they were clean too! my stock ones had black gunk all over them.

so now i have two parts off a 5.0L stang, the O2 sensor, and the injectors... i dunno whats next?

Glad you liked them. As to the ford logo...doesnt matter. It could have a Ferrari logo and it wont matter.Pick any car company they dont make the injectors.90%+ of injectors are made by bosch.Thats what matters.

Also before people try prying manifolds off ford 5.0's. You wont ever find 4 pintle injectors on those cars look elsewhere in the ford family. Or contact me for clean tested ready to ship units as many members can attest. ;)

Does anyone know what the stock flow rate for the injectors on an '89 M30 is? I have a TMS chip. So, would the motor benefit from some 19 lbers?

Good point. I bought my 4 pintle 19 lb injectors from Nitro too, but I have yet to install them. I just saw on Mark D's website that he has a chip specifically for cars w/ the 19 lb injectors swapped in. Anyone here try it out yet?

            ~17.5.

            No benefit.

Hmm, yeah not much difference there then. What about the 24 lbers? Anyone know whch ford cars those came out of? If not that's cool. I'll find out from some friends.

No benefit because the motor does not need more fuel.

Larger injectors are only an upgrade on the 2.5 because the stock ones are undersized. The only other BMW motor in a similar state is the 3.0 in the US-spec M3.

I bought my injectors from nitro. They arrived well packed in a timely manner and looked good and clean. They've worked perfectly thus far.

Many people have the chip made for 17 and 19 # injectors. (it's the same chip). You really only need 17# injectors, people use 19# since they can get those cheap ones for Mustangs)

                      Mystikal has the chip also.

Just installed my 19lbers. CEL light came on. Ive only driven for a mile or two. Exhaust smells really rich. I already have a regular markd 93oct chip. Should I just keep driving to get the ecu adapted or am i in danger of fucking something up?

As time went on, the factory developed the car each year, making it faster, more comfortable, and capable of handling at higher speeds.
You don’t want this. You want the trickiest, most dangerous, oldest model you can find. Only then can you prove to the world that you’re a man.

yes drive it more.let it idle for about 5 minutes then flog it for a good 10-15 minutes and all will be ok.Otherwise if you pamper it will take days to adapt.
