Honestly, I got lucky.. I have a buddy who had the same swap in an 89 325i, unfortunately it was totaled last month, and I have been offered the goodies. The interior is nearly flawless. Ill post pics of the carnage soon, she got it from the front and the back.

Grabbed some more goodies today, Those are oem IS side skirts, and a zender spoiler, it either mounts by itself, or on top of a pre-existing IS spoiler.
The other picture shows an MS2 unit, with a LC-1 Wideband gauge and sensor also an IAT sensor both these units are unused; And the the MS2 will be one of the last projects for when I turbo. ARP headstuds are already being used on the engine I have.

My thoughts exactly now that I've slept on it, why the hell not, thanks for the wake up there Paul. That being said though, this is a PNP unit, so not a lot of wiring will be needed other than minor modifications, I really want to use that IAT instead of the flapper style, So I'll get reading up, and then posting up in the "alternate tuning" or whatever, part of this forum. :D
I'm not a guy to spend money for a tune, no point. You lose, you Learn nothing.
I have to do some wiring on the 318i, but for the most part, its more or less a harness swap since it's coming from a late model 325i, with the same swap.

I am such a noob with e30s that I don't get the fascination with the headlights.
Nice scores though!

I would not recommend reusing the head gasket, once its been squashed it's game over, the price of a new one is worth not having to remove the head a second time + changing oil, coolant etc...
Nice parts haul by the way!///Monstrosity. (OO≡≡[][]≡≡OO)

Here's my take on it, The head on my car doesn't have the correct finish on it, thus ill have major oil seepage. That being said if I am sending my head in to get a proper finish, it will get getting MUCH more than just a deck skimming, and when you play that token, why the hell reuse a headgasket.
But If I decided to turbo it completely stock as is, Ill do it Knowingly what may happen.
I'm pretty excited about the parts myself! The only ??? is the g265, I bought it off craigslist, he wanted $450, I talked him down to 300 because he said he took it apart.. I call BS on that though since it takes a 10 ton press to do any work on the g265's. The input and output shaft seals, along with selector rod seal will be replaced, and the shafts are definitely within spec, so lets huff it and hope.

Hmm its known fact that the 265 gearbox is weaker than the 260/6, keep that in mind when you put that snail on...ส็็็็็็็็็็็็็็็็็็็็็็็็็Originally posted by blunttechI need you to exfoliate my ballsack

Hey, well lets see your source man! :) I and others would love to see the link. I beg and plead you, dont just Link us to an argument from mye28's website. Statistical value shows people prefer the g265, but those are opinions, not facts.
enlighten those whom lay in the shadows my friend.
