might have to put a dimple in one of the bottom tubes to clear the actual bolt where my engine mount sits.

I've talked to couple guys running e30M30's and 1 with Garagistic (copy) mounts and they made them fit.

so I will too.

It's been 3 days solid that I've been wrestling with my driveshaft in efforts to get it in.
I thought my csb was on backwards, so I flipped it. And it's STILL not fitting properly.
I've hit a bit of a bump jn the road.
So I'm bitting the bullet and towing it to a reputable e30 shop that will sort it.
I'm behind schedule now ffs.

I've tried and tried and I can't get the csb to line up with the body holes, and can't slip the guibo on the pin...can't even clear the tranny support.

Cut the 90 degree lip off with a grinder and weld on a plate that is extended to reach the bolts. If your car was an auto that is the lineup issue, I had the same problem with mine, I just cut open the holes and welded two plates on and bolted it up! Not a single problem.

it wasn't an auto, it's 5spd from the factory.

either the front driveshaft I bought was misrepresented when I bought it (said it was from an e28 535), or my engine is too far back, OR for some reason a euro E32 730's transmission is some weird Getrag 260 hybrid that's slightly longer than our north American distributed E34 M30 Getrag 260's...

Either way, she's been sent to my E30 guys shop and he'll figure it out (I'm suspecting it'll need to be shortened by an inch)

I'm not a mechanic, and summer is REAL short here in Canada so I want to get this car on the road sooner or later...spent enough time dealing with this.

After this is done, all that's left is wire up engine harness, exhaust headers, exhaust, e-Fan install, and cooling system...

my ETA is another 2 weeks.

Drop tranny mount, unbolt engine, pivot top of engine, slip on pin.
It's possible to have engine set too far back. Needed to bring fwd about 1"
