            Thanks guys! I still need a wiring harness tho (if anyone has one pm me please) and I need to figure out where I can buy some transmission bolts too. But other than that I need an overflow tank and I think I'm good

                      I bought them off eBay and I thought they were powdercoated but I'll probably just use black engine paint

                        I ended up using my m20 harness. Just had to extend a few sensor wires, and a few injector wires (since the m30 is longer then an m20)

                          My car is motronic 1.1 it's. 1987 325is I want to use my stock wiring harness but I don't know if it will work

                            99% sure it would. My ECU is a 1.1, and my harness is 1.3. There's very little (if any) difference in the harness. I think all 1.3 added was stomp test (ECU trouble codes). Maybe there was more....but I think that's the major thing.

                              FWIW, I upgraded my "153" ECU, which is Motronic 1.1 to a "173" ECU which is Motronic 1.3.

                              It was literally plug and play, and added the stomp test to my car. (Along with better chip compatibility, and an improved idle)
