            ya but what about the top? i have about a half inch between the top of my intake and the hood. that pipe looks like it would be even with your roof

                          Wondering if removing that will hurt the structural integrity of the strut tower? Great idea though!
                          I hope not. Maybe a strut tower bar will help?

                              You might want to weld in triangular tabs from the strut bars to the inside walls... it's what the Swedes did when they cut those bits off.

                                I've seen people weld in the supports from a convertible in there too
