    32v > 24v >12v (v8 is gr8)

m20 got old so i turboed it, turbo m20 got old so i sold it.... m62 shows up at my doorstep and I say.... orly?

    welll well well.......

    +

    =
    big mess of parts

in the midst of swapping out parts to make it an obd1 m62. :D

already received my brake setup from a v8 e32 :D

now comes the fun part..... (my favorite)
full tear down of engine bay (everything) from brake lines to fuel lines to abs to brackets.

removal of core support to add a removal type for quick motor pulls.

seam welding strut towers and frames.... etc.....

    so much work

    so little time!

Good god that is a huge engine! How much do they weigh again?

          Torque = good.

75lbs or so more than an m20... but its further back... plus the big ass 6 speed adds a fair amount to the mid part of the car...

no ac or PS should help a little bit

yeah, forgot about that whole Alusil part. good luck on install.

neither of those parts are too cheap I thought. How much does a 6spd run?

Quite the ambitious project. I wish I had the time, money, knowledge and ambition to do something like that.

I'm too lazy to spray my "is" front air dam and put it on. It's been sitting in my garage for almost a year now.

                      Getting old sucks...

Are these some OEM mounts, like for a 24v swap? Or something custom?
