Doesn't sound too bad other than radiator mess lol. So the firewall/tranny tunnel was left untouched?

    Very cool!
sure can,and NO subframe spacers, I made sure when I was building it that you could do a clutch job w/out having to pull the hole dam motor. the rad was/is still a pan in my ass. I had to cut 3/4 of and inch out of the front sub frame (rad support) in order to get it to fit, the rad its sell started out as ford bronco 2 that I then had to custom mod both end takes, then I used a e3m3 coulant res with a spall 14 fan, oil cooler ect...

there should be a few in my album under my profile

but I used the stock e30 5 speed trans crossmember, the rear half of a stock e30 shaft and a custom front half, as well as cutting about 3 in out of a stock e30 shifter arm and selector rod, oh and it has working ac :-D

I have the spacers & the mounts, they're good quality and fit the engine nicely to good position. Though lowering the front subframe isn't good thing to do but can't help..

I dunno if there're many manual E39 540's around there, but here in Europe you can buy one for 3-5k€ so that's the best combination to start with.

Engine bay is painted, still missing brake discs, exhaust and some small things. Should be driveable in couple of weeks if i've time to build it. Damn school :D

    Rest of the project pictures.

    Old start-up video without exhaust.
Let's try if forum-software understands this..
