My m30 coughs abit when you punch it before picking up revs normally, and is smooth when you lightly rev it.

I don't know what it is...

I reset my tps so it clicks at the slightest throttle opening and it seems to have gotten a lot better.

I blew my new fuel pump yesterday too :(. Used parts suck.

So you loosened the two bolts on the TB and rotated it? Correct?

Did this stop the hesitation when you punch it from idle?

Finally got the car running again! (fucking vapor lock)

I was having a semi-high idle that sounded like I had a big cam installed. I found an open vacuum port on the bottom of the intake, so I plugged it up and now it idles perfect
...but, when I hit the gas too quick, the car stalls out. If I unplug that vacuum line, it revs up fine. Any ideas?

Did you get your temp gauge in the cluster working?

Had same kind of frustrating problem, it turned out that one of the injector's harness connection was popped loose and gummed up (inside that long black plastic box, on top of the fuel rail). Got it cleaned out, and it runs like a champ.
Auto TPS, with Auto 179 DME, mated with 5 speed manual = idles and runs great.

Gah bad memories in this thread lol. I had that thing running perfect right until it blew up :(.

Hopefully I don't have these problems with the new motor...

Just to add a little more on this, some clusters have a resistor in place (to complete the circuit) so that if the bulb goes out the alternator would still charge.
