Ugh, that sucks. How did you manage to seize a cam?
Look at the bright side though, now's the time to throw in a B35!
i would love to know how the cam seized, thing is it happened within 30 seconds and seized so hard it stalled the motor and shattered the plastic guide rail cause the chain tighten so fast. really sucks cause now the crank bolt won't come off, the head i payed a bunch of money for has a stuck b35 cam in it...
i dont have enough money to go b35 is the shitty part, i can't afford mounts at all... i need this car to run. i gotta drive it!
i've got a s373 in mine and i don't like it much. it's not for eurpean driving. like rick said highway sucks and it guzzles gas. the max speed it will allow with a non-sport 5 speed is between 135mph and 145mph. (usually closer to 130) and at 120mph rpms are around 5k
great low end and can rip tires through 3rd sometimes 4th but in the long run i'd rather have gas. got a line on a dogleg and a diff re-geared by alpina hopefully i'll have it soon (racewars at end of july.) anyway i also have a s391 from an ix anyone have that set up? curious how it is on the highway
So it turns out the diff I had was a 3.25 after all. Put it in today and drove around for a mile or so. First gear has no chance of traction now, second feels a bit faster.
When you guys say spin, do you mean drop the clutch while shifting and have a long chirp or drive along in gear hit on it and spin?
