I never noticed how bad the TB looked in that pic. In the car it does not stand out like that. Ill add it on the list of things to paint. Hopefully ITB will replace the crusty TB :)

        Does pre-E30 M42 power count?

I'm getting there, the biggest hurdle has been waiting for a functioning G240. Now that I have one in my possession I've only got a few more loose ends to tie up and she'll be ready to roll.
Obviously I have yet to drive it so I'm not quite sure what to expect. Although, I've been throwing some ideas around about a discrete whine coming out of that engine bay at some point.

Ok I have to ask what you painted all your covers with? Just high heat silver or is it powder coat?

The silver paint is from Eastwood company, the aluminum paint. The black is just the standard high temp satin black.

Have you had it running? If so how has it held up?

Yeah its been running for a few years. Overall its held up decently. Some parts could stand another coat, but its not bad.

                          Ewp nutty

Hi guys im new to r3v but not to the worlds greatest car BMW. I have a 1991 bmw318is that put a EWP80 on and the difference was night and day all the way around.
motor is extremely happier at idle and more so at speed. my motor has about 275000 miles on it and its feel like i can go another 200000 no problem.
the power it freed up is "WOW" noticeable!

(i cant figure out how to load a pict) but will when i figure this out.

Edit: rags are a nice touch!
