What is the 'tune' used for this kit? Is it an EPROM chip or does this come with a standalone like MS2?Leave a comment:

I don't have jake's kit but I currently have a stock M20 clutch and single mass flywheel and it is holding up fine on ~7-8psi I think my turbo is about the same size as the one jake uses it is a T25 off an SR20. I plan on trying to get a spec stage 3+ clutch for my car when I up my boost to 15 psi in the future, I'll keep an eye on when mine starts to slip though.Leave a comment:

No check engine light on.
Yes there is an Innovate MTX-L wideband reading lean, and a Matco Maximus scanner plugged into the car with a lean o2 sensor voltage reading.
This kit is designed to run on the stock fuel pump and fpr, correct?Leave a comment:

Do you have a check engine light on? Do you have a wideband? Why do you think it is lean?Leave a comment:

If I where you I would email the guy. Is it possible that you only have a base tuneLeave a comment:

So I have the kit installed and running, but its running very rough and lean, I have checked several times for any vacuum leaks. I can't find anything that could be wrong with it except for the tune. It is open downpipe at the moment, and it had a quarter tank of 87 gas that I added octane booster to til I can fill it up with 93. I have also tried the original chip and an ebay one that the car had before, and it seemed to run best on the stock chip, but was still way off. I have also tried adjusting the AFM and it helps it a tiny bit but nothing close to running good. Have anyone else had issues with something like this? Here is a picture of the finished install:

The thread pitch looks about the same, but the plug from the head is definitely smaller. The car is a 1991 if that's considered newer, as far as we know the motor hasn't been replaced. So a m10 to an4 fitting should work?Leave a comment:

yes that is the correct plug to pull. Is the one smaller from the head? Finer thread pitch too? Might be m10 x 1mm which is in the later heads so I bet yours had been replaced at sometime.Leave a comment:
