Not cracked, for some reason it seemed to be slightly twisted. Fixed and put some silicone around. No leaks now. On another a good note since that slight adjustment on cams last night, car is so smooth and purs. It's been along time its sounded this good. haha
I have never done the tensioner the compressed way. I had a friend lecture me that i could mess up my timing, basically thought a bout it and couldn't figure out how it would have.
I put the 19mm wrench on, then push with my other hand, seems to do the trick.
Since the car runs so great now i cant decide if i should sell my flywheel clutch setup or use it. It's a JB racing 8lb flywheel with kevlar stage 2 clutch. I keep having second thoughts because of hearing about the rattles. But then again if i sell it i could buy a MarkD chip.Comment

id consider selling it. Theres really no reason to have such a clutch on a mostly stock engine. Driving around everyday you are going to want a stock or more mild clutch setup.

That's my feeling, this clutch was previously on a m20 that was free flow exhaust, headers, 19lb injectors, gasket matched head, cammed and chipped with maf conversion. By no means is my 318 even close to that. hahaComment

see the real problem with a gnarly clutch and a super light fly is that like you said before you get really interesting chatter, the clutch has no modulation whatsoever and its really a bitch to daily drive.

Well then made my mind up then. Sell stuff and get started on turbo stuff. I spent around 1800+ on my m20 to get to 200hp, i bet i can spend 2k and get more from this m42.Comment

That is exactly what i was planning on doing. Wish people would buy my parts dang it.Comment
