    Stronger pressure plate-what to use

Now that I have the turbo set up the clutch is slipping easily in 3rd and 4th. I have a JB flywheel with stock clutch components. Is there a stronger pressure plate I can bolt on with out replacing everything else? The other parts are fairly new so I would rather avoid buying a complete kit.

    Happy Thanksgiving

Hmm- stock M42 or stock 325? The 325 p-p is pretty grabby, and if you add a
more- aggressive friction disc, you might be O.k. Ireland sells several more aggressive
discs with springs in the center section...

Its a stock M42 pressure plate and disk. Are they interchangeable with the m20? If so, are the M20's any stronger?

they are not. You cant run an m20 pp on a m42 fly.

If the jb fly is m42 specific im pretty sure you have to run a better m42 clutch.

I think clutchnet.com has some options for the m42.

Thanks DJ, looks like they have some options. I need to call and find out what the different stages mean. What do you run on your car?
