    S6-37 Transmission swap

Hey everyone, I tried searching for this info, but haven't found what I am looking for.

When swapping the S6-37 or "ZHP" trans into an E30 what are my crossmember solutions? I've seen the Kassel bracket and the Garagisitic mount extensions, but is there anything else?

What about a shifter? It seems cutting the shift lever carrier to the correct length is not and issue, same for the selector rod, but has anyone figured out a nice lever option?

    Thanks, George

    I bookmarked this link: https://www.r3vlimited.com/board/for...leted?t=259427

But the guy went back and removed all the info. Geez.

Yep, I had found that one too and what a bummer to see all the info deleted.

^He used an E90 crossmember that bolts to the trans. You still need a custom solution to bolt to the chassis with your choice of trans bushings:

In my E30 S54 build, I was running out of time and just used the Kassel brace. I had planned to redo it with the above as it fits much better. I cannot recommend the Kassel brace TBH. Links of my build in my sig.

You can use the above thing with this cross member.
