    Rear Differential Input Shaft Seal

Swapped out my rear differential this past weekend, and found that the new unit leaks from the input shaft seal.

I had changed out the output flange seals when I had it apart, but neglected the input seal.
Going to tackle it when I have the subframe pulled this winter for reinforcement.

I see the part number on realoem is 33101214099. Is there anything else I should be ordering from the parts diagram? (attached)
Also, are there any special tools for this job, or special differential measuring/shimming needed?

Since you are just changing the seal, mark the shaft/nut and tighten back to that spot. Once the sleeve is crushed, the torque values are no longer relevant.
