Auto to manual conversion question.

I've seen the walk throughs and wiring diagrams on what to do with the manual swap wiring to get the car to start/reverse lights to work.

Do I need to get the wiring off a manual transmission to be able to patch into my cars wiring? I have a getrag 245 and it has a reverse switch on it, but it didn't come with any wiring.

Yes, or just make up the wires. It only takes 2.

A G245 from an E21?

You can actually just delete the auto trans harness or make a jumper
