Cool! man thanks for sharing the info... btw I love your shifter assembly how much did that run you? Im debating on stock OEM which is going to cost me over 200$ in parts alone.. plus all the work of cuting, welding..et...Leave a comment:

My vote goes on that Guibo SNAPING shit up.... not sure if its in this forum but this happened to another E30 and it was stock...so I imagine with the torque of the M62..Leave a comment:

So earlier this morning I took the J-N-C out for a spin. There is a local meet about 5min's from my house and on the way there J-n-C through the center shaft bearing..ugg
So i turned around and babied it home.. lol all of a mile...
Drive shaft is out and all is well, just waiting on the replacement part so I can put it all back together. Thinking i'm going to check my motor/trans alignment with the chassis cause the bearing wasn't bad...
I'm thinking it maybe the rigidness of the revshift gibo i'm running...ughLeave a comment:

yes this can work with your build to do the obd1 swap.
But if you run the 6spd you won't need this piece you can run your crank trigger off the bell housing/flywheelLeave a comment:

Then i decided to replace the rear water tube gaskets, and all 4 o-rings. Next was mounting the crank sensor. The 98 m62 is obd2 and I'm converting to obd1 in order to ease on build and run MS3. So i had to come up with a way to mount to the sensor. I think it turned out pretty good.

OK so sorry for the lack of update but my new job at American Hot Rods
has taken allot more of my time than I expected so my time here at the MonkeyMadness Performance Garage.
So my next major feat is the exhaust. As soon as i finish this up the car will be able to be road tested and work out the hidden bugs. So far my small excursions have shown to be worth while, and lately I haven't had any "issues"
So on with the plan. I have been all over the interweb and found the end.
after all the searching i found one exhaust that I really liked the look of and have planed to follow suit with a few small deviations.
I have the glasspack style front resonators these are 2.5" inlet/outlet with a 12" body.
If you have been following my build you know I really wanted to keep it a true dual exhaust but also trying to keep the look of the car as stock as possible
I opted to go with a lol OBX stainless dual 2.5" inlet and dual 2.5" outlet, BUT i ordered the straight through glass/perforated core.
This should sound real nice and soft at idle, but like a banshee while driving aggressively ;D
Plus this way I'll have the stock look and a true dual feel and sound.... Grrrrrrrrr!
So the only part that's still up in the air is the tips...
