Lucky you guys not in CA, you have no options on what CATS to use lol .Leave a comment:

The O2 sensor that the DME uses for mixture control should be as close as possible to the exhaust valves while still receiving exhaust gas from all the cylinders on that feedback loop.
The post-cat O2 sensor, if you use one, needs to be close enough to the catalyst outlet to stay hot.Leave a comment:

Lol I know. Its not the options that are a problem. I was just thinking of killing two birds with one v8....Leave a comment:

Why don't you just weld a bung in the pipe? You would have a lot more freedom in cat selection.Leave a comment:

Ok kool. The one I'm looking at now is a high flow with the o2 bung before the cat element but still in the body of the cat.Leave a comment:

You want the O2 before the cat, anything else is going to give you false readings. The only reason to have one after is for measuring the efficiency of the cat.Leave a comment:

Ok so I didn't get the SLP's like i wanted and now that option is at a higher price
But now i have another question before buying a different set.
If I'm going to run a cat as close to the headers as I can (that is my plan)
Should I get cats with with o2 sensor bungs in them or should I run the o2's before or after the cats?
I'm looking at a cat that i have the option of an o2 in the center..Leave a comment:

Well I'm Keeping my header setup as is. I'm also thinking of keeping it a true dual to begin with. Running a set of SLP Cats #M310193500 for ( 2 ) reasons, -1. Being Hi-flow cats are perfect Resonators, -B. The one common element that all the bad ass euro v8 sounds that i have found run hi-flow cats, And -5. I'm hoping it will give it a tad bit more of a stock look if for some reason my car is inspected by the fuzz...
So after all that I will be running 2.5" all the way back to ( 2 ) Magnaflow 18146 4" x 26" and a ghay'ish stock looking tips to fool the grayhair's at the car shows...
and after all that not so cool sounding typed letter crap it will still support my build when i mount my SuperCharger under the hood of this beast.;D
