It think is was cause I was trying too hard to hide it or make it "perfect" and I just screwed up. Either the heat busted it or the shrinkrap did something either way it was my fault.

The tach is proving to be more of an issue than expected.
I was able to mount the Garagetastic unit and get it working. Then in thw process of srinkrapping it and tucking it I killed it...ugh

So I bought a Dakota Digital tach thingly.
    It seems much more robust.
To which I have also not installed yet do to life once again getting in the way....ugh
That's too bad about the Garagistic tach issues. I got the same one, installed about a week ago and everything works great.

Any progress on the tach and exhaust?

Is this offer open to anyone? I'm in need of some m60 knock sensors to get my engine running. Sending PM.

I got the same garagistic RPM thing waiting for install and It also going in a 318 (which already has the 4 banger chip) hope I will have a bit more luck with it...If not at least I know there are other options.

Cant wait to see your plans for the new exhaust.. I cant wait to get to that section of the swap.. all the stress from "will this car start???" is gone...the rest Should be fun

oh trust me I get the life keeps getting in the way my man... I soooo get it!! family..wife...kids... work..this and that.. seem like there is always something. that's why my swaps always take place in the winter months.. at least I dont have the outside of the house to take care of gives me more "ME" time in the garage...
