Don't get that Uro 'upgrade' valley pan. I got one, and when I tried it install it, the bolt holes didn't even line up. I had to drill out all of the holes slightly in order to get all of the bolts in. After that, it fit great, and I thought I was home free... Until I started the car and it spewed coolant everywhere. I had to tear the top half of the engine apart (in the car) to replace it with the OEM pan (which dropped right in, and has been 100% leak free).
It's a great design, with terrible quality control.Last edited by JGood; 12-04-2014, 06:57 AM.

Thanks man you just saved me from a horrible mess....OEM it is. Also did you put any theadlock on all those little coolant bolts (valleypan, backcover, passage tube from one head to another) damn thats a lot of bolts..managed to snap 3 of them in total...had to rethread:(
Nope, they seize easy enough on their own, I don't think thread locker is necessary. I did chase all of the threads with a tap, and used all new OEM bolts when reassembling.
