Are you putting the S62 throttles on to the 4.6l M60?

So less time to make anything..
Get some 4,6is X5 pistons to test fit in my block.

Don't notice that arrow in piston.. I know it's wrong way.
i only measured how much that piston comes over deck. (0,06mm less than Alpina piston)

Very differend bolts in X5 vs. std M60/earlyM62 bolts.

light smoothing and pistons are ready for installation.
Now pistons accept cams lift with good safety marginal.

                    Fantastic,,,,

Why dont you use Studs,,, ,, IMO it is the best way when you have an aluminum block

i like the ITB idea,,, this conversion should be done more often on a M/6x swaps

Where i get studs for M62?
ARP dont make them, and thats only brand to trust. (maybe)
With BMW OEM bolts i know everything goes well.
If i over thight block, cylinders goes oval.

                      btw.
Those bolts in upper pic are rod bolts.

I love how you started with this statement and then go full custom!

Can't wait to see this all come together.

Ok,, didnt knew that,, but the bolts are 10x110mm in length as oem

and if you can find studs in that lenght you are a go!

                                No big progress..
Yesterday i get all temp/pressure sensors for engine/Motec.
                                Also autosport connectors for sensors.

All sensors are made by Kulite automotive and McLaren electronics.

All pressure sensors are also temp sensors. So i get temp and pressure data from same sensor.
