With the start of my new buisness www.jayfabwerks.com I have been busy working and making other stuff for people. But I have been able to touch my motor a bit. Getting my driveshaft lengthend since the motor has been moved forward also after doing the manifolds I needed to get them decked since they wrapped a bit when welding. And finally I'm still waiting on my custom flywheel to be finished and it's close!
Sorry for lack of updates, been busy working on everyone one else's projects. Got some go fast parts in last week. Just need a couple more crucial pieces the puzzle then should have everything together in a weekend or so
Did some messing around on some utility blades.
Got to weigh the flywheel when It was done out of the Lathe, 15lbs!
Pretty much yes. It might not be a perfectly direct changeover (some fiddling and fitting required IIRC), it still gives you a real good start on things.

Congrats on this, BTW -- WAAAAAY harder than it looks. I don't think most people who haven't ever tried it would have any idea how hard it is.
Did you take a little bit of the razor edge off of them to butt them together, or did you manage to just get the filler to hold the edges in shape?
