    I have a 3.46 gear.

I also have racelogic traction control on my side as well.

      Winner?

This is all true. But with the LS3 vs S62, the performance is marginal enough that id rather have the power band and revs of the S62. But if it were my dollar, I'd have the LS3, because an S62 swap is hella more expensive.

How high can you safely shift a stock s62? an LS3 can be shifted at 7k rpm safely, I shift my ls1 at 7k at least once month (with ls6 cam).

On stock valvetrain? Ballsy. 7900rpm redline iirc in the S62. I also meant how it revs, the exhaust note is amazing.

On stock lifters, psi 1511 mls springs, and ls6 cam. The s62 exhaust note is quite nice though.

Ah. The big thing I was wondering was springs. I'll probably run beehives when I build mine.

S62 redline is rated at 7000. LS1s have a factory cutoff of 6200, but people spin them to 7200 with no problems with a quick ecu flash.

A lot of people get surprised when I let them know that I shift at 7k rpm, most people think that the ls1 redline is 5k rpm...haha. of course, if I had the stock cam I would be shifting at 6k rpm.
