Also wanted to say to y'all. Thanks for all the encouragement and help. I never would've thought this would've gotten all the attention and views as it did due to it being a Chevy in a Bmw.

Awesome job! You have a great group of friends too! Can't think of many people that would hang around long enough to help out like that. Most just want to drive it and never help.

after the hard work it took to drop this thing in it was well worth it. took these pictures and went home. on the ride home, i kept shaking it was crazy. hard feeling to explain. It's getting close. The light at the end of the tunnel seems close.

I always heard to put the harness on before dropping it in. Since there's barely any room to play with when it's dropped in

Use some small pop rivets and small fender washers in a few places to keep the insulation in place. Don't drill too deep -- put a drill stop on your drill bit.

So the insulation in the bell housing keeps falling down idk why it won't stick. Gotta find a way to make it stick

So got the power steering lines in. Already installed them to the rack. Flopped the engine mounts around thanks to Garrett.

Also I put most of the harness on. And took this picture. I'm getting a weird feeling guys. Idk if I'm nervous or what.

Like her if I turn it on and I forgot to do something when I rebuilt it? what if my bad luck follows and it doesn't run.

    Bleh

    But here's the picture.

Now waiting on Garret to hit me up and let me know if the mounts are really backwards now.

    Oil relocation lines are on

    It's getting close!!!!

Beat more of the tunnel in

Almost time to drop it in.... Guys I'm fucking stoked

Also had to get new wheels since my other ones wouldn't let me put the right tire size so I ordered these
    #iRepReps lol

I'll have 245s in the rear 225/235 in front

The holes are supposed to face backwards? Or frontwards?
