I am trying to get the crank bolt off of my M60, and its just not budging. Killed 2 breaker bars, tried a 700ft-lb impact, tried 10ft pipes tried heating it up tried drilling the head out. its just not budging and im starting to think this crank is gonna be scrap if i cant get it out. Open to ideas. I'm currently looking to see if anyone has a 1000ftlb or greater impact. I just wanted to get the lower timing cover off to do seals and guides, but Im starting to think that I need to be looking for another crank now for a rebuild :( thanks.

Dont go incremental, get an inch impact wrench and apply all 2000 ft/lb of it.
Otherwise get a ladder and inch breaker bar and a 30 ft cheater bar.Your resource to do-it-yourself and interesting bmw and e30 stuff: www.rtsauto.com

Update: Got that f***er out. Torched it for 15 min, got the crank holder to press on the ground, and then jumped on the end of a 10ft pipe on a 3/4" breaker bar. Unthreaded by hand after the initial CRAK. thanks guys. Now to replace the chain and guides. We're in deep now boys
