    No cluster lights

The lights in my gauge cluster don’t work. Everything else does. The obc and everything. Headlight switch?

+1 for bulbs. It's not worth checking them, just replace them if you have the cluster pulled.

          https://www.r3vlimited.com/board/for...-e30-bulb-list

The small bulbs are 2721MF - they are everywhere on the Internet.
The big ones under the orange covers are 2821.

I know the headlight switch is a common problem too. Is there a way to test the bulbs or the switch?

In order to test the bulbs, just connect 12V either way without any resistors.

If you can adjust the brightness of the clock, then the switch works. It doesn't mean that connections to the instrument cluster are good. You can check the voltage on the appropriate connector pins when you remove the cluster.
