    hi,
    I bought a 320i Baur which I am gradually putting together. The car is partially attacked by tuning... The year of manufacture is November 87' and the tachometer is a motometer with 9 diodes, i.e. the first model. So is it already replaced or is it possible that it is there from the factory?

      an 11/87 320i *should* have a front coding plug cluster with a 7k tach from the factory. Someone has messed with the cluster on almost all of these cars for obvious reasons. I would say someone swapped it.

          As far as I know, 9/87 was the changeover month from early cars to late cars. Theoretically, your car should have either a Motometer or a VDO cluster with 7 diodes for the Service Indicator.

            yes, it was a transitional month. Mine is already plastic.
