    Eccentric stuck?

During my valve adjustment I noticed that I couldn’t find the holes on two of the eccentrics. I’m not sure how they work exactly so I tried to see if I could spin it around to get to the hole side but it doesn’t move. Do I have to take the rocker arm apart and reposition the eccentric or is there another way to get them to the right position? Suggestions are appreciated thanks! :)

They can certainly be installed backwards. Or adjusted backwards.

Depending on which rocker, the pivot bolt can usually be taken out, if you take load
off the rocker, pull the clip, and slide it one way or the other.

now, sometimes I just mess with people. It's more entertaining that way. george graves

If a valve job or valve grind has been done to the cylinder head, Or and aftermarket regrind.. It can put the eccentric in an odd location.

They sell a springy tool that has 2 ends on it that I got from BAV auto 20 years ago that has been working well.

      Something like this.
