    Differential spec

    Hi there ,

    I am going to rebuild my diff. Its a small case diff not lsd and i am trying to find the technical spec for the diff. I am mainly after the preload and backlash specification. It would be much appreciated if anyone could help.

          For small case diffs, the E21 factory manual has what you need.
          I found several examples with a search for 'E21 factory manual pdf'

          t
          usually just gets the pattern right and tries to keep it just shy of 'crunchy'
          now, sometimes I just mess with people. It's more entertaining that way. george graves
