It's not really used for vacuum purposes, is it? It's just used as the bypass so the ICV can control how much air goes through when the TB is closed.

koser had to replace that just take the hose into a pepboys and they will give you universal hosing for like 98 cents don't spend 4 dollars.Comment

I went to all the autoparts stores in town and none had that type of tubing or any tubing that would work. It's worth spending 3 extra bucks on OEM stuff.Originally posted by fletcher millerkoser had to replace that just take the hose into a pepboys and they will give you universal hosing for like 98 cents don't spend 4 dollars.Comment

That tube is of dual diameter. It starts at one size and ends up a different size. Sure you can go through the trouble of having a similar sized tube cut and stretched. Or you could just buy the damned OEM part, know that you have an original part that is known to work for 15+ years, and save time on fitment.
But that's just me.1988 325iC - "Betty" - Daily Driver/Project Car.

The difference in 98 cents and $4 is huge to some people on this forum...Originally posted by PanamaE30That tube is of dual diameter. It starts at one size and ends up a different size.
