is there a problem with taking the pintle cap (tip) off of an injector from a car in the pnp to replace a broken one?

They sent you the ones like the ebay link? If they did it will work and have a better spay pattern than the brown one in the pic.

Your welcome to try. But your better off buying new. They are more than likely going to break. They get brittle over time.

Ship them back and get the design 2's off ebay. But I think they might still work. Some one correct me if I'm wrong

so i took out my injectors for the 1023 time and replaced the fin-style pintle caps with blue non-fin style pintle caps. it was a pain in the ass but it was worth it. however when putting the injectors back I must have broken one of the top seals because it is SPRAYING fuel hard from the top. where can i get a new seals? is there any place local I can get them so I can try to fix it today? dealer maybe?

today was a great day, car started up and idle'd smoothly for the first time in months =D

Go to any parts store and if they don't have them have them check for 5.0 mustang injector o-rings

Try and get ones from a mustang. I believe most Bosch injectors are the same.

                          I got mine at autozone.
