stalls/dies when hot/under high load/at high rpm

so i just finished putting my 87 back together. runs great for about 5 minutes then dies as soon as it gets hot :[

will stall if:
the engine is hot enough
engine speed exceeds 2500 rpm
throttle is above half way

here are some clues:
injectors are from an 85 735i (they work, but i dunno if theyll work with my car)
coolant sensor/sender are new
afm works
tps works
vacuum leaks are minimal
fuel pump (new) is quite loud/screeching
fuel pressure regulator is new

possible culprits i've thought of so far:
o2 sensor (seems to work, could be wrong)
coil
injectors (maybe e23 injectors dont work on e30s)

You have an I or and E?

m30 injectors are low impedance along with Eta ones, I motor has high impedance
