it's factory.* This has been bothering me though: My car had a headgasket replaced before i owned it at one of the dealers here in Toronto and the coolant has not been changed since. The coolant they put in was green. Is the blue stuff a more recent addition or did our cars come with it from the factory?Comment

While I don't enjoy paying for it, I certainly feel better about using it.

If it was good old green, 1oz with sufficient water wouldn't even be that bad. God knows how much fuel/oil/coolant/blood ends up in my mouth by the time I'm done fixing my car for the day.
Idk about the makeup of the blue stuff.
Lots of "poisonous" stuff is only poisonous in high concentrations.
Even cyanide isn't that bad in moderation. Apples and lima beans don't kill very often.
