I had this problem on 2 of the E30's i had, both times it was the wiper switch. Try playing with the switch moving it in different directions and see if the wipers kick on, i used to wiggle mine back and forth and up and down to get the wipers to work until i was able to get a good switch to replace it with.Comment

Well sadly, its a no go:(
I wiggled the switch, swapped the relay, and the fuse. I banged on it a little to try to get it unstuck, but to no avail. Then I put it on the slow setting and tried moving it by hand at the same time. I could hear it trying, but its dead
Well, guess I'd have to go through some more pain sooner or later. Should I go for that DTM look with a mono wiper? I kinda like it, but I wont center it in the center, Ill keep it low. Or should I stick with the double?
