Central locking crapper the bed in a big way...

Sadly, the 330is has no functional locks at the moment and I'll be parking it until that can be taken care of.

    Symptoms:
Driver's door lock cylinder turns but does nothing (luckily, it unlocked the driver's door ONLY this morning).
Passenger lock unlocks individually, but doesn't do anything else.
Trunk lock cylinder is frozen, so I need to replace it. This is a pre-existing condition, but means that without central locking, I can't get into it.

    Troubleshooting steps:
I have performed the red/black wire mod to no effect.
I have swapped the relay/central lock unit to no effect.
There's something clearly wrong in the driver's door as the key turns pretty freely, but to no effect. I have eyeballed it from the back side, but haven't seen enough to make any kind of real judgement.

    Next steps:
What should I do? I intend to replace the lock cylinders in the doors and trunk as they are due for it. What else should I consider swapping while I'm in there?

I'll follow up in a few minutes with video of the driver's lock cylinder if that's at all meaningful.

my driver door does the same it turns but nothing happens but i have manual locks and if i look it from the inside it will unlock from outside. and the passenger door lock is just really stiff but does work but it would probably break the key if i kept using it. i would hate to get different locks thought and then i would have to have a different key for the locks and the ignition
    any ideas?

I can't seem to unlock/lock the door from the inside, either.

I am having some serious issues as well. I washed the car the other day, had a cold weather snap and the thing froze solid. Now that it is warm again, I have lost my central locking, and all manual control of the doors. Only my trunk works.

Let me know what you find out.

At this point, I'm basically just going to take everything apart and throw some parts at it. It sounds like the issue is the driver's door lock actuator. I'll replace that and rebuild the lock cylinder. And replace the trunk lock cylinder while I'm at it, so I don't have to deal with getting locked out of the trunk any more.

That's the next step. With the exception of the actuator, everything was on the list anyway.

I think we're in the same boat, except that I don't have a garage to work on this shit in.
