i got the 93 Mark D chip for my 380 DME, i think he actually sent me the 173 but obviously having no care for my car i tried it anyways and it works great, just above 3k rpm theres an awesome jump in power. just need injectors and AFM upgrades to complete.
BTW, i origionally thought that we only had 91 octane here in houston, but we do infact have 93 as said by others.

I contacted Mark about the e30 chips to get the word on using the 173 chip in a 380. Here is what he said:
Originally posted by MarkDThe 380 chip is just the 173 chip with some more diagnostics. You can actually run the 173 if you don't care about a few extra DTC's (diagnostic trouble codes)
But I'll make the chip very soon, for those who care about the codes.
Thanks
Mark

WOW, nice! The 93 octane MarkD chip is in, and life is good! 8)
Oh, and the 380 ECU install is a breeze. There is only one board and all you have to do is pull the cover to get at it. It took me maybe a half hour to change it out. The other difference is there are four small screws in the top of the cover to take off. Easy install, and I am sure probably the best performance/cost ratio mod.
I am currently running 92 octane and it seems to be working well. I had arranged for some 100 octane fuel to mix up the 92 to 93, but I don't think I am going to need it. I am going to test it out the next couple days and see what happens.
Another very satisfied MarkD chip owner. Way to go Mark :!:
