HELP: E36 P/W switch install on E30

Do you have the right brown wires connected to the right wires? When I did this, I did the mistake of cutting all wires off my body harness and not one by one and it does matter which brown wire goes to what wire.

In my case both brown wires from the e30 plug did the same thing so i connected the e36 negative to one of them only. I had only 4 wires from the e36 switch though not 5 like in this case. I assume that the second ground from the e36 switch is the bulbs ground?

Not quite sure but I do know that it didn't work for me when I had them switched.

Are you sure you identifyed the e36 switch cable colors right? The e30 diagram i gave you is correct so maybe you got the wrong diagram for the e36 switches.

Yes, it was the 2nd ground that threw me off.

What did you do to make it work? Having the same problem of blowing out fuses
