SO this is the radiator we put in to a 82 320i. Its 22" wide, dual row, w/ tons of fins. It cools like 5 times better than a copper rad.

You have to love the proto cheerwine resvoir!!

      Another shot

This is the bracket he had to make to fit it

We are tying to get my friends 325is up here so we can fit one for a M20. Hopefully it will fit in a car w/ a i6

That would be really cool if it would fit~ You will surely have to remove the fan though, but most people do anyways soooo just leave room for an electric one infront of the radiator.

yeah the fan has to be removed but the electric acessory fan is more than enough. He mounted on the front of the radiator and wired a switch to it cause he almost never has to turn it on. The temp is always like 180 unless you are sitting still and idleing for like 30 min and it gets to 200 which is still ok. If you are moving or have the revs above 1500 the temp stays at 180.

            4-valve per cylinder heads =)

But seriously... fab up those brakcets that hold on the earlier IS front-valence (like my '87 325is). I was going to do this at one point in time, but the guy who was supposed to do my drawings totally flaked on me.

How heavy do you want the collar? Also what is the diameter of the shift lever?

I don't have pictures since mine are broken to pieces. Jordan did CAD drawgings a LONG ASS TIME AGO... but I don't have them and I highly doubt he'd be willing to give these up to anyone (he wanted to have these things fabbed up himself a long time ago).

Does anyone else have pics of the brackets?

At least a pound, probably two. How heavy can you make it with steel?

Would you be able to make individual throttle bodies for the M42?
